We're pleased that we have some recourse here as the business owner seems to be completely unphased by this situation, which has been a significant blow to us. He hasn't said it but his demeanor conveys a loud "tough luck, no skin off my back" attitude. We are emailing your repsonse to the deputy sheriff who came to the scene immediately at our request. You never know what you're going to get into when you seek help from strangers on the internet at an unknown website but I was anxious enough for help that I was willing to put up with the possible fallout, also known as SPAM.
