I talked to her mother and decided that I will give her one week....two max since it's thanksgiving soon to figure things out for herself. If she doesn't come back with a suitable dress from a manufacturer that has something for everyone then tough. She's picking one of the 17 dresses I originally choose. I feel like I have to swallow my feelings because these people will be my future in laws and keep her in the bridal party. |

Ultimately I phoned my mother and in a round about way I asked her if they wanted to be the "inviters" on the invitation or if they really cared. Come to find out they think that we are the ones inviting the guests, so they don't really care about being listed, whew! It helped that ironically at one of their church meetings they had a discussion about how they should forgive, even if they don't forgive, and it was focused around divorce... how ironic! Thank you so much for your answers and sincerity with my problems, I hope these answers can help someone else. I know you helped me! |

I''ve been a wedding coordinator for 16 years. I authored a WEDDING PLANNING GUIDE, a Bride''s Workbook, that is available in local bridal shops. Tattered Cover Bookstores in Denver, CO as well as local Borders Books and through my website. I''ve worked with weddings from just 2 people to 350 guests and all budget ranges. I've also written and teach The Art of Wedding Coordination to those who want to become wedding coordinators.
