Actually, when I would feed them each little shredded carrots, I would ruffle the bag and then feed them to show them as a signal they're getting a treat! Then, I would hold a piece of carrot just above one guinea pigs head, and if he wanted the treat he would have to stand up. Whenever he would do that, I would give him a treat. (I would also say "stand up" whenever he would stand)! When the other piggy saw this, he wanted a treat too! So, I also taught him to stand up too! |
