2009-08-15Andy10101010YesThanks I counted around 20 intake vents probably because the original plan for the house was to have 3 PAVs. I will have the roofers install the PAVs lower then before so they will be further awy from the ridge vents. Andy
2009-07-28James10101010YesMark was very prompt and while not being able to give an answer without more detail he took the extra time to explain all the different factors that would effect the answer, which helped me understand the problem more.
2009-07-26Bob10101010NoThanks Mark for the good and clear advice. As my cost was about $15.2 per sq ft, I guess I got taken by CPM Construction using IKO brand shingles. If you ever get a chance, please advice anyone to stay clear of this outfit. Bob
2009-07-19Robert10101010YesThank you Mark. Just what I was looking for. I will cut the studs forming the walls to the 31' low slope roof at 1/4" per foot to form the 1 in 50 slope as you suggest. As to metric, it works for some things but the only thing builders see that's metric are official building codes that are quickly converted back to inches and feet to be useful. Also, everyone refers to their height in feet and weight in lbs. Thanks you very much. Rob
