2009-11-20Stormy10101010YesI was most impressed with the quick replys. I was very uncomfortable about having my cat fixed but after talking to Kate, I am setting a appointment to have my cat spayed. She did a wonderful job of comforting me and the feeling I got that she understood was amazing.

2009-11-05melissa1081010Nothanks so much...I contacted our shelter and they said that they could take them but they already have 28 cats waiting. They told me that more than likely the 2 will be split up and theirs no guarantee they will be adopted. I don't know what I'm going to do. This situation has me sick to my stomach. I'm going to try to take my time and see what happens. My sister suggested I meet this guy that is interested in them and have him come over to meet the cats, me go check out his house and do that several times so we can get a feel for this guy. I don't know what I'll end up doing. Hopefully I'll figure something out. I just don't think my female cat could handle being separated from the male so I don't know about the shelter. I'm in Wilmington NC and the only place I've been able to find is the humane society which does kill. Thanks for the advice and I'll definitely keep it in mind

2009-10-30vj10101010YesThank you very much! We thought that might be the case so but wanted an expert opinion. We will follow your suggested links. Again thanks, Sharyn, VJ and Lucy, Joppy and Banjo :):)
2009-10-28Cindy771010NoDid not really answer my question. Gave some helpful tips, but not able to comply with suggestions because of where my cat is "stuck". She is in a green-belt, and their are too many wild animals around to leave fresh food and water at base of tree. I'll ask someone else on your list. Thanks anyhow, Cindy

2009-10-19Shannon10101010YesThank you so much for your responce. Now, I understand that's just female cats for you. They have been in the same house for over a year now. So, when Tiny still does what she does, I think, seriously get over it! When we hear a commosion, we quickly see whats going on, and both run there seperate ways. I see how they are individuals and keep to themselves. I had one more male, which a friend adopted because five was just too many. Males are so much more relaxed. Both of them would play and sleep together. So cute! I find none of the females doing that! Although, with people, our females are so tolerable and friendly. I agree and think it is cruel to declaw cats, and will not for the others. I had to learn that the hard way with Desi, but she is fine now. She does have her back claws though. Also, I hate to bother you with another question, but Desi, my oldest had lived in New Jersey and moved to Florida with me. Since she's been in FL, she has had the worst Alergies. We've tried different diets and putting a shirt on .....
