2009-05-16Gene751010NoThanks Jim, I spoke with the store owner and the tile guy came back, tore out rows of tile, and replaced. Huge improvement. Minimal lippage now with 1/16" grout line. Not perfect, but very good. -Gene
2009-05-12Deborah Fine10101010YesJim, Thank you. You hit the nail on the head. This person profess to be an expertise tile layer and a did a somewhat decent job. His inexperience showed in the variation of the final tile surface and the length of time it took to do 3-1/2 walls and the ceiling (4 days).
2009-05-04Jerry10101010YesThanks Jim, Don't know why I didn't think of that. I guess sometimes you can't see the forest for the trees. I'm 65 years old and been a plumber and DIY'er for years, but ideas don't come like they used to.
2009-04-30Shirley10101010YesThis is pretty much as I had expected. I was hoping for a less expensive way as the sheeting will run me a bit of $, but I will take extra step and expense as in long run it will be cheaper. I do not plan on tiling up wall, plan to run under wood trim against house where it is covered. Thanks for your help.

2009-04-06Donna871010NoThanks for your answer. It sounds like it was not done properly the first time. I will not use these same contractors - no use to perpetuate the problem. Your response backed up my gut feeling. Thanks for your time.
