2009-09-08Brian10101010NoTimely response but when I tried to post the follow up answers he needed it said he was unavailable, so not sure how to rate him or how to get back in touch with him.
2009-09-07Hans10101010YesDear Benny Sorry for my late "thank you". We spent a couple of weeks in Europe... Anyway, I wanted to thank you for your response. I think I will go with the #6 wire since there will be max. 15 Amps load at one time. Again, many thanks for your help in providing me with the info I needed! Regards, Hans

2009-08-18robert10101010Yesso after i went and spent a whopping $0.69, LOL, it took all of 2 minutes to have this working the way it should! i just wanted to say thanks so much and you are the best. i had other sites trying to give me an diagram on the same thing but they seemed not to know what they were talking about because it was so wrong but you were right on from the start so thanks once again and for anyone who asks this person something please listen because he is the best!!!!!!!
2009-08-08Jon107810NoThanks for the answer. I'm sure the advice was good, but I may not been clear enough explaining my situation. The answer while correct and good advice didn't quite seem to fit what I asked.
2009-08-03peter10101010YesI wanted a followup, but he is maxed out.
2009-06-16al10101010Novery helpful and i would recomend to others
2009-05-28Rick10101010YesBenny, Thanks for the quick reply!
2009-05-18Keith10101010YesBenny, thx for response. I found the problem-it was the variable speed switch itself. I took the switch of the curcuit (i.e., I took the switch out and connected the wires directly)and the fans worked perfectly. I can only guess that some curcuitry in the old switch was interfering with the electrionics in the remote control receiving unit wired to the fan.
2009-05-09Dean10101010NoThank you for responding.
2009-05-09Carl10101010NoThanks for your quick response, and the product recommendation. I found some more detailed info on these devices online, and will contact a local installer.

2009-03-29Chris10101010YesGreat response and response time! Knows what he's talking about!
2009-03-24Vicki10101010YesBenny, As simple as I attempted to make the question, you took the time to wire me from the basement to the 3rd floor and confirmed what took me 24 hrs to sort out in my brain. Thought with 12 gauge I'd have to fuse with 15 amps, when a short extension cord can do better than that! 20 amps? A pleasant surprise!!! Happy spring (if you live up north). Vicki
2009-03-23Rita10101010NoThank you for at least trying to help me. It's just strange that the switches would go bad when I hardly have ever used either the lights or the fan on these particular switches. I'm only in that location very seldom.
