| 2009-11-23 | Victor | 10 | 10 | 10 | 10 | No | Anthony, You are on the right mark. The problem is with the restaurant that my pipe is connected to or runs parallel to. They take care of their drains, but it's the dishwasher that was the culprit. Obviously, the sewage odor occurs when the machine is in use for some reason(s). The odor seeps through wall crevices to my side. They will put a device or cover to prevent that from happening. Thanks for the propmpt and helpful reply. Victor |

| 2009-10-17 | Derek | 10 | 10 | 10 | 10 | No | There is a product called Affresh, it deodorizes and cleans the tub. The product removes the mildew smell. Works better than bleach, read and follow the instructions. It was a low cost way to resolve our problem, thanks for your help. |

| 2009-10-16 | Matthew | 10 | 10 | 7 | 10 | Yes | Thank you, Anthony. I did get another estimate, from a company who did a camera snake for free (rather than charging me $300 like the first guy). There was now no trace of the obstruction, and this second plumber said that my sewer line looked in very good condition and was scratching his head as to why the first guy would have recommended putting a pipe liner in. He also informed us that all the work the first guy wanted to do would not have solved the problem we initially called him for, which was a rattling in our pipes. Turns out it was a faulty pressure regulator. Thanks for the info!! |

I have next to nothing when it comes to plumbing knowledge, and yet I clearly understand what steps I should take and how to best implement the suggestions I was given. Anthony was direct, honest and concise. Exactly what I would expect from someone with the tile of "Expert" Well done Anthony and thanks again for the help! |

| 2009-10-05 | Joe | 10 | 10 | 8 | 10 | No | Thank you very much for nailing that answer. As soon as I put in about a cup of bleach there was an improvement. I will do it a couple of more times for good measure. I don't know but perhaps there was some stagnant water in the overflow which would get activated by the drain as well? Without your help, I probably would have started to redo the drain piping. I appreciate your help very much. Joe |
| 2009-10-05 | John | 10 | 10 | 10 | 10 | No | Anthony; Thanks for your prompt response. The leaves are just starting to turn. Also, if you come back to NYS stop in Poughkeepsie and see the just opened longest pedestrian walkway in the WORLD,an old railroad Bridge over the Hudson River. It offers the best views of Hudson Valley foliage! |
