2009-09-06debbie10101010YesI felt I knew the answer to my question, but I just needed reassurance my thinking was correct. I sew quite a bit and have been sewing since I was a child-fabrics, textures and colors play into sewing garments, drapes, etc., as much as decorating with furniture. Her response, suggesting a solid color instead of a print design is something I would consider safe, which is what I always do. Since I'm getting the chairs for a great price, I might just bite the bullet go fot it. thank you!

2009-04-24Toni10101010YesThank you Jenny for your quick response to my question. I really enjoy interior design and would love to volunteer as an expert on this site. How would I go about doing that?
2009-04-23dawn holmes10101010NoThank you Jenny. I went online and found a regional antiques dealer about 130 miles away in a high traffic antique shopping area. He said he would help if I sent pictures to the photo link on his site. So I got myself a free photo bucket account, and will send to him this weekend.

Expertise

Decor: I've written about it, planned it, designed it and colored it, and I've never stopped loving it. It's not what you spend, or who made it, it's how it makes you feel. I take pride in assisting people with virtually every aspect of making their homes more comfortable and livable on a budget! As an advisor and decorator, I have assisted many do-it-yourselfers in the quest for developing their own unique home style.

Experience

College, advertising, public relations, marketing, free-lance writing and a plethora of creative endeavors have led me here. A stint at a law firm taught me humility too, but I really never scratched the creative itch until I became an Interior Decorator. Some three thousand questions ago, I wondered if I could really help. I think now that I am, and it feels great to give something back.
