2009-01-06Tom96109NoGentlemen (I don't know who reads this), I'd like to thank John for his time and efforts. He makes his answers very short, though. It does not really help to write: '[something]etc.' It may just be the 'Etc.' that I'm looking for. He gave only one example and after that wrote 'etc.' He probably didn't mean any harm, but he - as an expert - may know about this subject (that i asked about), i - as a questioner - however don't. So, a little bit more elaboration would have been very helpful. - And then one other thing: I don't like it when people just talk to you without abiding by the old conventions or ways. This Internet Age has spawned many new ways which are not always polite and nice. So, John did say: 'Tom,' (although I'd have appreciated 'Hi Tom' more), but at the end of his text he said nothing, like, e.g. 'Regards, John.' Saying nothing - as many today do - dehumanizes the Net, and i don't appreciate that very much. Otherwise i'm grateful for his efforts and would like to thank him again for everything he did for .....
2008-11-27Ronald Ayers10101010YesDear Mr. Troland: I want to thank you so very much for being as BLUNT as you were in response to my query about "spending an inordinate amount of time" doing a business plan. Your comments were both corrective and instructive. I will take the ABSOLUTE TIME necessary to write my plan even if it exceeds the ten pages I mentioned. When its done, I will send it to you for your comments. Again. THANK YOU for your expert advice. Sincerely Ronald Ayers

2005-02-13Robert10101010NoThank you so much. You have already answered the most pressing question I had about the form my new company should take. I (and the company) are in the San Diego area. We've been operating the business out of our rented house for nearly seven years and in various locations for the 15 before that. I also am a member of a Barter organization, so I'm trying to check out the possibility of accountant/attorney in that area. It would cut down on the cash flow problem. If I can't arrange for those professionals the Barter, would I include Professional fees in "Start-Up Costs" to be paid when I get the SBA funding? Or??? Where, exactly, is the area code 860? When would you be available for a telephone consultation? My phone number is 619/588-4583 (the business) or 619/504-1411 (cell phone). Please let me know via e-mail when I should call to talk to you (and what kind of fees I would be looking at for the initial consultation). Again, thank you for your help.
