2009-09-17Norma10101010YesThank you, you have been very helpful. At ths point, Hospice is here more now, with a nurse here all night. He can not eat and has a hard time swallowing, only takes morphone, and liquid ativan, has been taken off all other med's. He sleeps all the time. They have said he is approching the end. Yes, this is the most difficult thing I have experienced, we have been marrid 54 years, and I feel like I am loosing my best friend. Thank you again.

2008-02-26angel1010610No Hello Margot, I e mailed you about my mother a little over a week ago, I didn't make my question to you public but now I would like to because she passed away on the 15th before I left my house 10 hrs. away, I would just like for others to know what could happen, parkinsons effects so much in the end stages and I would like for others to be aware of what happened with my mom, to be prepared, she never fell and broke bones and she was never sick, it just happened to fast for us all, we didn't expect things to happen the way it did. thank you, Angel Love

2007-12-19Kate10101010NoI thank you for your assistance. Dad is now dying in a hospice. He has days they say. The hospice is a wonderful place and he's getting great care. He's peaceful and comfortable which is what we all want. I wish I had found this spot earlier!
2007-11-18Jo10101010Yesvery helpful. thank you very much.
2007-11-11Nancy10101010YesThanks Margot for your helful answer. It is helping me to prepare for what I have in store in the future. My grandfather was a victim of Parkinson' in the late 50's early 60's. I know with continued research there is more home for us now than then. Thanks also for the idea to contact a local beauty school. I am sure they can help. They are one of the best in the south. Thanks again!!!
2007-11-05linda10101010YesOops,sorry I spelled your name wrong.Thank you for your help.I will give this to my father and see what he thinks. When you get back from vacation I would like to ask a follow up question. Linda
2007-11-05Carol1010810YesShe was wonderful. There are no easy answers for the questions she must address, but the compassion of her response was clear.
2007-10-09Leigh10101010NoPrompt response and facts are what I was looking for, and received from Margot. Thank you very much !
2007-10-01Wanda10101010NoThank you Margot, Being able to shrae with someone that is going through this is very helpful. I am insisting my husband go to the new nerologist with his dad this week. Would it be a good idea to call the office ahead of time and put in his file for the doctor to discuss the driving issue? This way, it is the doctor that would bring it up not my husband. Thanks again for you kind words, they were very helpful. Wanda
