I visited the toshiba website, and found the missing drivers, unfortunately, they were only compatible with vista, not xp. So I decided to look in softpedia, an online free software encyclopedia and found the program drivermax, which found the correct drivers for my hardware and operating system.

2009-05-05Larry10101010NoThanks for this, ATI have confirmed since that the 4850 card does in fact allow two different resolution displays activated by Catalyst set up suite, one has to click on icon in main display (projector) drag icon across the screen so it appears on the extended monitor display. thanks again
