2009-11-07Paul107105NoI believe John is truly an expert in his field and I do appreciate his willingness to take time to share. I would ask his advise again if he'd be willing to give it but since you are asking me for my opinion I feel I need to express some concerns. In his bio he states that he has a business and that's fine but what bothers me, is his answers that refer you to products that he sells. Secondly, after reading my answers I went on to read others he wrote and I feel he may confuse issues with too many technical facts to show his grasp of the subject rather than to enlighten. These concerns are more personal and it could just be me but what I know for sure is, I do not like receiving a follow up email right after his answers telling me to respond with a rating. After my first ans. I received the ans again with 2 seperate email reminders and I hadn't even had a chance to read the whole answer. The site explains the procedure well enough that I feel these "reminders" from John are out of line and of all .....

2009-02-09Daniel10101010YesJohn was very knowledgable and I could not have asked for more. He really broke down the steps of what I should try. I can tell that he is an expert in this field.
2009-02-09Toby1011010NoI didn't get an answer to my question. I got an editorial. They question was: What is REQUIRED to become a qualifying agent in the State of Tennessee. Please read your professional's response. He did NOT answer my question, he only gave advice I wasn't seeking and already knew anyway.

John E. Pecore Power Quality Engineer

Expertise

Power Quality and Lightning protection for Burgs, Fire, CCTV, and Gate access systems. I also want to hear about Back up Generator issues effecting your electronic equipment. I know all 24 manufactures of fire alarm panels. If you ask me I will tell you who I think is the best, and who is the worst. A lot has changed in 30 years, and many consumers have no idea what they are buying, and what they should expect for reliability for their systems. The question is, why are you paying for so many repairs? In the South, re-occurring revenue is extremely important. Do you fall in that category?

18 years trouble shooting every name brand in after market lightning issues.
