| 2009-10-16 | Al Roznicki | 10 | 10 | 10 | 10 | Yes | For the first time since I have had this problem (over one year ago) I have suggestions on which course of action to take. Roger's advise provides sound direction to solving an issue whose only solution was to dig up the floor. For this I am eternally grateful. In the long run I may have to dig up the floor, but not all of it, just that section that is defective. Best case, I'm losing water through the backwash and the floor stays intact. Thank you sooo much Roger. Al Roznicki |

| 2009-08-28 | kenneth | 10 | 10 | 10 | 10 | Yes | thanks, and I agree that a gunite spa is highly overraterd compared to a theraputic spa. More like a fancy hottub, but my gunite spa man swears the jets are of a much higher quality, and the body will truly last a lifetime compared to those flimsey plastic portables. I didnt get into the qualities of the acrylics used in the tubs made today, but the prices are comparable as a 6 to 8 person gunite spa cost around $7000 turnkey cost.I will let the homeowner make the call.... thanks again. |

| 2009-07-14 | Paul | 10 | 10 | 10 | 10 | No | Thank you so much. I will try cleaning them as directed and see if I get different results. They are indeed cartridges but are quite large so I will have to purchase a receptacle for soaking them. I have been taking them to the car wash. I was also unaware the life of the filters was only one year. I was told and have read they should last 3-5 years if properly maintained. |
