2009-10-05Zachary Russell-Ford10101010NoI should of clarified what I was throwing, it mainly happens when I throw the discus but not so much when throwing the shot. When I look at an object at the finish for the discus, I tend to stop rotating my hips. When I hit the finish I try I was always taught to lift my chest to make sure that I don't throw low.

Is it okay to eat other fruits, i.e watermelon, grapes, jello after one race but before another? He runs the 100m, 200m,400m, and/or 4x100 relay.

2008-03-28Leslie10101010NoThanks for your reply. It makes sense. She said at the last practice she was the slowest starter for the 400m, but she would still come in 1st. I do think she could use some help with her technique for starts though. I will try to observe her during acceleration to see if she is leaning forward or more upright.
