2009-10-22Lori10101010YesThanks so much for your expertise in this matter! Your information is the way I would have gone, but it's less scary to have an expert who has worked on large windows confirm the way to go! Thanks also for the quick response. I feel better now about going ahead with the project!
2009-10-02Chuck10101010NoThank you for your response. That is right where I thought this would be. I will see who is around here that can sell this for me.

2009-07-02Claudia10101010NoThank you Sue! Because most of my experience is with copper foil, I really appreciate your expertise with this. And, yes, we definitely are our worst critics! But I believe that's what separates quality from mediocrity!

2009-05-23Claudia10101010NoThank you, Sue. I wouldn't say I have a problem with getting Novocan or Jax patina to react to the zinc . . . I just have to work at it a little: apply in long strokes, scrub with my applicator (cotton ball) where it goes "wonky", wipe off, reapply where necessary, wipe off. I can get it very even that way. As far as the brass patina, I'm not sure I want a "soft" copper finish as I feel that's what I get prior to your advice on how to apply copper patina. I want a brass finish that looks like brass U-came. Well, brass! Thanks again for all your advice and the fantastic info on your website, Sue!
2009-05-22Claudia1010910NoThank you Sue! I followed the link to your explanation of applying patina and will try it on my next piece.

2009-03-09Claudia10101010NoThank you Sue. I've tried brass steel wool, and it doesn't take out the scratches. It was a good suggestion, and I appreciate your answer though!
