2009-08-19catherine10101010Yes Chester has been enormously helpful, thanks so much for this site and for his time. THANKS CHESTER
2009-08-18catherine10101010Yesthanks for answering so quickly, i can't send a picture as i am in another state from the lamp, live near portland, me. in new hampshire, 3 hrs. to Boston, and i assure you it is a real tiffany, been in the family since early 1900's or even abit earlier, lovely kind of watery greens, pond lilies ,pond lily leaf base, all original, but as i say some panes to be replaced or cracked, probably aven the wiring is original except the plug. This is why i need a real expert, and i know it will cost some money, but i want it back in really good shape, beautiful patina on the base. Do you know if Tiffany repairs it's own lamps somewhere?
2009-07-07wayne10101010YesMr. Reinhardt responded quickly to the question and most important, it WORKED. Thanks
2009-07-02Claudia7101010NoThanks for the referral, Chetty, but they no longer make a patina to give brass that nice, new-brass look. I keep hoping someone will have a stash of it somewhere!
2009-05-27Ron1091010NoThanks very much for your help. I haven't had a chance to try the repair yet but wanted to respond. I had the same thought about how the repair would be done but now I feel confident to give it a try.
2009-03-25Sandy10101010YesI was totally impressed with Chesters answer. He answered me immediately, and I completely understood everything he said. I had never used this service in the past. I've already told five people I've seen how fantastic it is. Thank you so much, Chester. I will let you know what happens, but it may take me a while.
