I was so afraid my sister (owner of this lithograph) would be unavailable when I called her! She did answer and was equally thrilled with the information about the publications' names Ms. Headley gave us as possible sources. Here's a bit of irony: my sister attended an estate sale in Atlanta today and picked up a book called "Masters of the Poster 1896-1900." Within the pages was a handwritten "sticky note" at the page for La Revue Blanche. It seems that the owner of the book she purchased had been the owners of a poster appraised at $30,000! |

Clarification; Yes the H.T.Peters litho does have 5 trees and house does face East. "Getting Ice" is "Winter in the Country" ..Have seen large folio of this litho for 32 thousand dollars.. "The skating Pond" does show C. Parsons as delineator. Hoping with this additional info your assistance can prove more relevant as to whether or not these three lithographs collectively stand the conservation costs anticipated. Best Regards |
