They have proven that the left foot touch, because of the centrifugal force of the right leg swinging toward the next base and the fact that you run the bases in a counter clock wise order, increase speed. The left foot is the preferred foot, but I accept the majority of opinion that the most important thing is to touch it. Don

2009-06-11Will10101010YesPerfect Rick, the only exception would be if an Umpire mistakenly grants a time-out prematurely (which has happened) the call must stand. Thanks again

2008-11-14David10101010YesThanks Rick for the advice and about the pitches i only know how to trow a 2-seam fastball,4-seam fastball and a sinker.
2008-09-09Alex10101010NoThank you so much for your response. I never thought much about stretching and warm up before but that makes sense. None of my high school coaches told me anything other than just hustle which is important. I really can not wait 4 baseball. THe only downside is that Auburn has no club baseball or intramural so its all or nothing here.
2008-09-01Bernard Turner10101010NoI digress, this is a great lesson for me and the others who were a part of this dispute, especially those who were on my side (wrong!!). I later saw that you had answered a similar question with the same answer. I will be sure to share this with the men who were a part of this discussion.
2008-08-15greg10101010Yesthank u very much...and to answer ur question on my tournys i did quite well...more good outings than bad...my control was really always an issue, some times i will have it then all of a sudden i would lose it completely...i have another upcoming tourny and i have been working hard on improving my mechanics, i just hope i can raise some eye brows and play college baseball...once again thanks for the input..
