2009-06-15Ed10101010YesAndy, Thank you for your timely response. You have been very helpful. The night before the game, I told my nephew, who was playing in this game, that I assumed I had seen just about everything. Thank you, Ed Maurer

2009-05-23mickey maitre10101010Yesanswered right on the money is plain understandable terms. Remember, the only base a pitcher has to throw to if he doesn't step off is first.

2009-05-07Dave10101010YesTerrific answer; very prompt. I'd talked to a local official who believed that there was a rule like that, but he said the same thing: he would've allowed it on most any level. Thank you for your expertise!

2009-03-25DAVID10101010NoGreat. The slide rule I spoke of is a local rule that many recreation departments have. We had that rule years ago. Thanks
2009-02-27Shawna810101NoI understand the need for being a little harsh. Flat out rude in in-excuseable. My son goes to a 5A-Div1 school in AZ. Now if you know your sports, you know AZ has some of the best trainers, coaches, and doctors in regards to the sport of baseball. I did not like feeling like a lousy parent when I did everything within my power to help my son. I know 14 yr olds who have had Tommy John's surgeries due to overuse. My son was well aware and now at a cost is well aware of communication. So, in closing dont criticize the parent or the doctor or the child for doing what was advised to be done. Yes, critisize the child for not being more forthcoming with his issues, but, I am not a lousy parent for not getting help with what I did not know about. He is going to a Sports Physician tomorrow and I am already ahead of you in scheduling x-rays and an MRI. Even though I am insulted I do appreciate your input as a professional. Thank you again for your time.
