| 2008-05-24 | Dave | 10 | 10 | 10 | 10 | Yes | Hiya Michael That was a lovely answer, and so well put. Maybe I wasn't as clear in my question as I should've been, but I meant that we justify our behaviour on earth when we reach heaven (hopefully). Perhaps it's only then that we can rid ourselves of the darker side of our personalities and be more ready to accept criticism. It certainly wasn't my intention that any retribution should be harsh or severe; merely to demonstrate what a certain course of action caused. Friends come and go but a family is a family for ever and despite what's happened I love my wife and kids more now than ever although it's been more than 15 years and with that sentiment it's very difficult to condemn so I don't feel there's anything to forgive - just regret. But again that was a lovely answer and I thank you for it immensely. It's such a tragic shame I can only award straight tens. I'm afraid you'll have to make do with my never-ending gratitude. |

I’d prefer to answer questions for those who feel they don't easily fit into any of the existing methods, molds or patterns usually associated with Christian mysticism.
I'm aware of and may comment on historical approaches. But in today's society many feel the need for new ways of connecting with the Holy Spirit. Ways that are in sync and integrated with the 21st century.
Along these lines, I'll try to help with the interface of mysticism, psychology, society and organized religion (especially Catholicism).
I've explored several different Christian denominations and am interested in their respective strengths and weaknesses. I've also been studying connections among Christians, other religions and beliefs in "the beyond" at my educational website earthpages.org and at my blog michaelwclark.com.
