2009-03-16Marge10101010NoThank you so much! We were able to get them both out yesterday, and she was vigilant but not agressive towards us. The foal is beginning to get used to the halter and even started to walk by her a bit. I guess it will just take time, Thanks again.
2009-02-23carol10101010NoHi Thanks very much for your polite reply. I feel you are right in some respects, I do think the time has come to let him know certain things will no longer be tolerated, it's just the thought of any type of use of force is always met with violent reactions which require a change of underwear! I have never had a horse who can decide to just stop and nothing you do will make him walk on. I believe he has an IQ equivalent to Stephen Hawkin! Anyway, thanks again.
2009-01-08Will10101010YesThank you!

2008-12-11JESSIE10101010NoTHANKS FOR YOUR HELP, I FEEL MUCH BETTER. HE IS WALKING GOOD NOW AFTER BEING STALLED. HOPEFULLY SENSITIVE FEET IS ALL THAT WAS WRONG, THANKS AGAIN, JESSIE
2008-12-01Katherine971010Nothanks for the quick response, yes I know that he thinks he is top dog but at 10 times my weight and willing to throw it around I am running out of options. He knows that there is really nothing I can do. If I demand (and I do) that he do what I ask he is now using increasingly aggressive behaviour to try and get me to back off. I know the importance of never letting him get away with trying to dominate me and stop him at the first sign (knocking me about with his head, or refusing to come out of the field when I want him to) to try and prevent the situation escalating but lately he has been going straight to serious attempts (lunging at me with snapping teeth, kicking out etc)without any of the earlier bossy behaviour. I will definitely talk to the vet and see if pain is causing the situation. Thank you again
