2008-09-08Lisa10101010YesHi Christine, thankyou for your advice and time.No i did`nt get him vetted which i know is risky. He has never had shoes and has literally been sold from the field. He is backed and rides patiently and quietly with my ten year old daughter riding him.His temperament seems outstanding, Farrier coming tomorrow afternoon(Graham Harland)he does remedial works for Ledston Equine Centre,so his advice will be v good.Whatever happens Jasper is a keeper!
2008-07-30carol10101010Yesthanks , for your advice, i did ring the riding school and tell them i wasnt happy , i dont think they really should use that poor horse for lessons or maybe they should try a diff bit, lol yes def gloves for me i think , i have aranged another lesson at a diff riding school, they asked my weight, heigt, ability ect.. and they say they are all fully qaulified so it should be ok i have brought a carrot stick to help with my pony and he does love some of the games , so it looks hopeful you have been very helpful kind rgards Carol
