2012-05-17Robert Timidness101010YesMany thanks for your prompt answer. What you say makes good sense and I shall try that with the more common things that make him jump. Just to let you know, I am in the UK and it is customary for pups to be re homed from 7/8 weeks old This is probably not the same where you are. In my case of course it didnt matter so much as he had no mother from 2 days. I love my dog very much and Hopefully your advice will help him have a bit of a less stressful life. many thanks. 2012-04-24TomRaw Food diet91010NoHi Jannie, thank you so much for answering and answering so quickly. I dis Google the dangers and I found opinions and results all over the scale from approve to disapprove. Even my insurance company had a web page that gave the pros and cons and endes with a vet saying there is no scientific data proving raw food diet to be any better. This despite proponent's claims of shinier coat, whiter teeth, fresher breath, better health in general and other claims that carbohydrates are inflammatory to dogs. It is harder to balance out their diet but it takes research. It is harder to feed them than just pouring kibble into a bowl. So, while I have not started and don't know if I will, I'll continue to research. It does make sense that they eat a more natural diet but it seems harder to do.
