| 2009-05-14 | Michael | 10 | 10 | 10 | 10 | Yes | Thank you very much for the advice, exactly spot on and exactly what I was looking for, I shall check out that book, I was unaware of theory behind piano accompaniment, or books that teach that, (I find that if I understand something in music, I can do it, and I have learned most from watching other musicians play or playing with them). It's nice to intelligent practical advice from an actual expert. (One last question I would have would be how to develop the ability to do piano fill ins during stops in the melody, I'm sure I'll pick it up, but actual theory behind it would fasten the process! |

| 2005-07-01 | Michael Mawhinney | 10 | 10 | 10 | 10 | No | I thank you Mr. DowDell. I am not qualified to rate you on knowledgeability as you obviously know much more than I do. Your response would probably be more clear to a person who knows a bit more about theory and music terminology, but the response will "stretch" me a bit to familiarize myself with this terminology. You couldn't have been more timely and polite, and I thank you so much. |
