2009-10-05Derek10101010NoWow. Thank you that's such a cool method that's been staring me in the face for years - outstanding!!!
2009-09-14Chantelle1091010NoThanks Bobbie, I've never written before, except for the 10 page 'book' I had written when I was 12. This is the first time I had ever written something serious and so I, like many other ammatuers, are very ignorant when it comes to 'marketable prose'. However, I've taken to reading quite a few books dedicated to teenagers and have noticed that this 'cussing' does make for a good book (but not to over-do it). I'm only 20 myself, and I was told by another author to write something that you would want to read yourself. So I guess that's what I did! I'm trying to make it as realistic as possible. Toning down the swearing would probably be for the best, though. I think the best thing I could do would be to just write the whole thing, take a few writing classes and go over it making changes based on the skills I've learnt. Thank you very much for your time and advice and once again, I apologize for asking you to read something so long! The 250 word rule will help in future. Kindest regards, Chantelle
