At times I myself have wonder if it was ME who subconsciously lifted that scene from some another source, but in my heart of hearts, I know the scenes were all based on my 1999 nightmare trip to Virginia City, NV where I got caught in a snowstorm. I never did sign a release, but I did have the script registered with WGA in 2000. I am trying to find some link between the two production companies, which I agree I would very much need to have any case. I do have on person in mind who is a successful author and am planning to ask her to take a look at the script. I don't know if this is a right route to go as she is a professional and it might be better to find an average "Joe" to look at it instead. Anyway, I am honored that you spent the time you have on responding to my question. I hope that I may continue the dialogue as pertinent needs arise. By that I mean right after I sent you that note this morning I tried my hand at a couple of loglines for the ideas I have. Come to think of it I can’t remember the last time I wrote anything as long as the note I sent you. That simple act of writing what I wanted to say and feeling rather satisfied with its results made me think with enough work and any kind of encouragement from you would add fuel to my fire. That wall doesn’t stand a chance all I have to do is lean against it and the fire in me will burn it down. Your so right I don’t need anyone’s blessing to be a writer and I proved that to myself today by getting my ideas out of my head and onto paper in the from of a logline.
