2008-12-18Jonathan10101010YesThanks very much for your answer! I didn't even think to look at the information embedded in her image files. Your "reverse engineering" is exactly what I was hoping for, since I didn't want to ask this photographer for her trade secrets. The more control I have over how a camera behaves, the better, so I especially appreciate that distinction in your answer. Thanks again for taking the time to answer my broad question with so many helpful suggestions! I am now hopeful that I can find a camera that doesn't try to think for itself too much and that produces digital images comparable to film. Thanks again!
