2009-07-01Nick10101010YesThanks, that seems really straight forward. You are a huge help!! As a note I looked today and I believe it's a Consolidated Industries (?) model HBA100ND5R. Seems it is circa 1987!!! I'm sure it needs replacing but I am moving in the next couple years so not sure what to do. I just need to get it fixed for now I suppose. Thanks again!!
2009-06-30David10101010YesThank you for confirming that i'm an idiot. I greatly appreciate the straight answer.
2009-06-26April10101010YesThank you!! Very quick response and confirmed my suspicions. Didn't even lecture me about my lack of upkeep, even though I totally deserve one. :)

2009-06-22John10101010YesThanks Bill for your response. I feel sorry for next technician who has to remove the mastic.
2009-03-30Bob10101010Nothe answer was a god one, but as it turned out it was a door switch in the lower control cabinet. thank you
2009-03-29brad1010510YesThanks
2009-03-29Monica10101010YesThank you for the prompt response. After further investigation, it looks like our best option will be to re-route the duct work through the attic. We appreciate your input and are very thankful to have your expert opinion. May God bless you.
2009-03-25John10101010YesVery prompt.
2009-03-23Clint Farrell10101010YesThanks that was the fastest response I have ever had with a forum. I appreciate the help.
2009-03-19Terrence Moran10101010YesThat was pretty much what I suspected. With all the furor about saving energy, the solar folks are making hay - perhaps out of straw.
2009-03-19Paula1081010NoThanks for the help.
2009-03-17Sven10101010YesFor something you can't know for sure, 'sounds like he knows!
2009-03-16Sonia10101010YesThank you for your response. You basically validated everything I was concerned about. There is plenty of crawl space under the house, so access wouldn't be that difficult. Under the house it stays! Thanks again!!!
2009-03-16Joel10101010YesMonee il, economy is as bad as yours, the house is only 2 years old. all the duct work is good. The other person took the furnaces, ac's,. 2nd floor is 2000 sq ft, first floor is about 1500. Based on setup, the bigger furnace was in the basement, a smaller in 2nd floor. Bill, I just need some ballpark idea, I won't hold you responsible. I however appreciate your time and experience. Do you think that 12k-15k is reasonable or what is the most you would pay?. Take care, Joel

2009-03-08John10888YesThanks for your help. I just bought another 20x20 grill which I plan to install soon. It doesn't give its' equivalent free area, at least not in any obvious way. Don't suppose it matters, though, since there is no place for any additional grills - the two 20x20 grills will just have to be enough!
2009-03-05suzanne10101010NoThank You for your quick response. I am getting to know the repair guy better than my husband. He did the gas valve this am, and thinks that is it. He will remove the new module and put my old one back, as that did not fix it. So far so good, we have heat!!!! Also, heads up on requesting something back, as I would never of thought of it. Never hurts to ask. I have you on my fav's now, hope I do not have to write again...
2009-03-03Art99109NoWould like to followup but was told too many other questions from others.

2009-02-24Tom1010310NoThanks Bill, I did clean the sensor but the problem ended up being a burnt out circuit board (we smelled it the evening before but did not link it to the furnace issue). THanks for the help!
2009-02-18WILLIAM8101010NoWE DID HAVE THE FURANCE MAN LOOK AT IT, BUT HE DONT KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON WITH IT YET EITHER. HE SAID,HE WILL HAVE TO FIGURE IT OUT THEN COME BACK TO TRY TO FIX IT RIGHT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME, BUT HES CONFUSED TOO. I WILL LET YOU KNOW WHAT THE FINAL OUT COME IS OK? THANK-YOU AGAIN SIGN WILLIAM BRADEN
