2009-10-24Deborah10101010YesDear Dr Gotthelf Thank you very much for taking the time to answer my query. You have been very helpful and I will ask my vet to try the drug you suggested on my dog. My vet and I are keen to pursue all options to try to clear up this condition. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and for your time. Yours sincerely, Deborah

2009-09-28J10101010YesVery fast response with accurate answer. Would have liked to have known any type of changes to look for that would suggest seeking medical attention--guess I should have asked. The word "benign" suggests otherwise, so it's probably up to my comfort level as to whether to appoint a visit with the vet. Couldn't ask another question as the expert was "maxed out" for the month. All in all, very satisfied with the help!! Now I can stop wondering.

2009-09-20Amber10101010YesDr. Gotthelf gave a very thorough & helpful answer. I feel very confident going back to our vet with this knowledge & feel much more informed. This response has greatly eased the anxiety in our house, as we were close to becoming frantic since nearly 2 weeks of treatment isn't showing any improvement. Thank you so very much for your response.
2009-09-17Marta10101010YesThanks a lot! I took my cat to a different vet for a second opinion yesterday, got a steroid shot, and the same answer for $215! Some sort of allergy!
2009-09-08Carrie10101010YesThank you for your prompt, accurate answer to my question.
2009-09-08joe10101010YesWhat a professional way of responding. This certainly relieved my mind and we will follow through with the advice immediately. What a great service and such a quick respose.

2009-09-02Tatiana10101010Nothank you! You were right, the bump had decreased in size by the afternoon already.
2009-09-01Rachel10101010NoThank you for your help. We seem to have the flea prob under control. I will definately consult my vet about the ear drops you mentioned to see if I can give the one dog some comfort. He does have allergies to food so it could be an allergic reaction as you mention.

2009-08-28Elayne991010NoDr. Gotthelf's answer was very helpful. I would have given him a ten, except for one thing (and this is a follow up question: What KIND of CORTISONE CREAM IS FOR DOGS AND IS THIS DANGEROUS WHEN A DOG LICKS IT?) I'll post a follow up.
2009-08-27Zebbie10101010YesThank you so much for the information! We have one old kitty that wants to eat the 'new' dog's food when this dog won't eat his food. I'll let my sister know to keep the kitty away from the dog food. Thank you again!
2009-08-24Nikki10101010YesThank you so much for your help. I feel 100% better :)
