I am so thankful and grateful that you are willing to take the time and help others with their pets. Dogs are amazing and they are all individuals with personalities of their own! I hope your dogs condition is okay and that he will be okay. Thank you again for all your time and effort in responding to my question!

2009-10-13maureen10101010YesThank you Dr. Davis, and all who make this site possible. I forgot to mention in my follow up that i will be sure to pass on your info about the wagging the tail, and of course the other info. It also reminded me that I need to get more regular with "wagging" my tail (doing kegels), as i am in my late 40s' and menopause is on my horizon, lessening the estrogen, which makes sense, if it can be a cause in females dogs being spayed and losing estrogen levels, then it is the likely cause in human females. LOL...thank you, thank you, thank you ...maureen

2009-07-02kate10101010YesThank you so much! Iactually stepped in on this situation and calmly told this person that his response was overboard. I also gently put myself between him and the dog, not allowing him to re-approach the dog. But, I felt very strange later, uncertain of what the right response was. Thank for sharing.
2009-06-24Angela10101010NoThank you so much, also my puppy doesnt seem to have irritation with the hair loss and its not patches its like just falling out all over almost like he is being shaved. I will consider his food and other things you mentioned the vet did all kinds of tests and could not figure out what was wrong but recommended some of the same things you did. Thanks so much.

2009-06-09Jenny10101010YesI was hoping there was some way I could thank you for the info. It was very informative. Plants I had no idea were harmful to pets. I really appreciate all the effort put into looking that up for me.
2009-06-06Ryan10101010YesThanks for the very detailed possible answers. I think it may be the mites, after reading what you wrote it jumped out at me that she moves her foot whenever we rub or scratch behind her hears or on her stomach, we just thought it was cute but it appears its an indicator. We're still taking her to the vet but at least I have an idea of what it is now and I'll clean all her stuff. Thanks again!

2009-05-16angelap10101010NoThank you for your speedy response. So it could be rat poisoning even though she killed the rat four days prior to her death?
