As far as my plants are concerned, could you get pictures of those; I've been trying to keep a document with pictures of my plants so I know what they will look like. I have lived in Oviedo, on the east side of Orlando, for about 9 years now, I live in Dayton, Ohio 17 years prior to that so I know what kinda weather Wisconsin gets. ;-) It must be harder growing orchids up there. Lately, I've picked some of my plants at the local flea market as they are in good, healthy conditions and also are quite a bit less expensive. For example, a Vanda goes for about $35-$45 at a orchid grower ... and about $20 for the one in the flea market. Please let me know when, and if, you come down to Orlando. Thanks, Angelo |

Orchids are a "men" plant: they don't tell you what's wrong, and it takes a long time for things to go south - whereas other houseplants might need a little water, look droopy and you give them some and they perk back up - more like a woman!!! |

I have thirty+ yrs of growing experience,president 2x of our local Orchid Growers Guild,held a position in most all other offices associated with the Guild at one time or another. Head of Orchid judging team for local club meetings and some shows. Member of two Orchid Socities and local Rep.for Mid America Orchid Congress for several yrs.I have in my collection about 800 Orchid plants of all types.
