2009-09-14Barb10101010NoAwesome! That somehow never ocurred to us! Even the change from one plant to the next can be explained with this theory because of the way the area receives sun. A large tree overhead exposes the "worst" corner first and longest. Thank you sooo much!

2008-07-16Alex Spears10101010Yes Thank you. My wife is Native American and we received the seedlings from her tribe. I have no way of knowing if they are hybrids or not, but I will save some seeds and see if they grow. I will also test the soil and make any corrections that are needed. They are planted near my tomatoes, so the soil was prepared for their benefit. The tomatoes are approaching 4 feet tall with fruit everywhere.

Expertise

We will research and answer all questions about organic gardening, soil building, square foot gardening, composting, mulching, planting techniques, sustainable gardening, sustainability, garden design, and how to create a simple reflection pool to attract birds and wildlife. Over the years we have learned that plants respond to the garden's aesthetics, soil conditions, and the attitude of the gardener. The healthier the soil and soul, the healthier the plants become, and are therefore more able to resist insect attacks.

Experience

40 years experience in private and professional organic gardening, creating formal gardens, giving organic gardening workshops, and sharing our insights.
