2009-11-05dallas10101010YesWow! Thanks for the super response time. I sure feel bad for the trees but I would rather shoot the bird than kill the insects. What would be incredibly helpful is some alternatives to those harsh chemicals or a way to trap the bird. I have certianly used my fair share of malathion in my 10 years of landscaping. Thanks again. 2009-10-23doug10101010YesMr. Hyland's answer was very helpful. I had been debating on filling it with numerous agents to keep the cavity from filling with water. I do very much appreciate having Mr. Hyland as a source of not only what and what not to do but also ideas on where else to seek assistance. Thank you for volunteering your expert time to help guide us with your knowledge.....
