I wasn't able to ask you a follow up comment...so if you don't mind I'd like to ask you a quick follow up comment here...I recommend using the frozen (microwave defrosted) garlic flavor cubes (garlic and oil) in making your own salad dressing. should i caution people to use that dressing up that day?! 2009-09-21Patrick McDonnell10101010YesThanks for the promptness and clarity of the response. Better understanding of the pH ranges is helpful, as our tomatoes may have been lower than average acid. Thus, if tomatoes are normally only moderately too low a pH for botulism, we could have easily been at the margin before adding peppers.
