2009-11-16Sam9101010YesAwsome the answer is really helpful, this car has been "worked" so that might explain the constant 20 degree C reading, much more hepful than some of the other places i was recomended that will remain nameless

2009-11-10Kevin10101010Yes Hi. Your info was great. I was able to narrow down the problem. I checked the ECU & it was fine, but it was something i was not aware of. I found the problem to be in the timing/spark. The crank angle sensor had failed & it would not send spark at the proper time. I did have to replace the distributor assem as the sensor is part of it. It now runs great. Thanks alot. Kevin

Expertise

I have been working with (and driving) a first generation Mitsubishi Eclipse for several years. Anything that could go wrong with an Eclipse has probably happened on mine. Fortunately, I have gained a lot of knowledge from experience in repairing these problems myself.

Experience

Identifying and repairing problems in mechanical and electrical areas. Plus, I have learned many ways to enhance performance to the incredible engine Mitsubishi put in their early model Turbos.
