You are absolutely right and since reading your advice I have started the process of letting it go and I feel so much better. I would let the situation consume me because I wanted her father to be there for her so bad but I recently told him that I'm not reaching out to him anymore and that if he truly wants to see her he would have to contact me and then make the effort and come pick her up. After two months of very little contact he asked if she can come over while they put up there xmas tree. I told him thats fine but I plan on explaining to him that if he cant see her on a consistent weekly basis after this then for her mental and emotional health i'm going to have to cut him off. She is only 2 years old now and doesn't know whats going on. My daughters father is married with a new baby thats about 4 to 5 months old and I truly think his current situation makes him limit my daughter. I hope the wife ..... |
