2009-11-10Bill Maltby10101010YesAlthough the answer I got was totally not the one I wanted, you did make it very clear. I wish to thank you for your time and effort. I just don't know what to do now, with no job, no insurance and physically unable to work means no income. Just another person falling thru the crack of life.
2009-11-05Shannon10101010YesThank you again, only she really knows her relationship thus far with her Dr. if it is indeed all that she has said then this correspondence has been more then helpful! Thank you for your time, I hope this can help someone else in the future.

2009-10-15A10763NoThank you. Yes I will be getting it removed. I've been reporting the adverse event to the company, Bayer, and I update as I have updates. I am also contacting the FDA and reporting to them. I will not be getting another IUD inserted and I agree Mirena should be taken off the market.
2009-10-07Megan10101010YesThanks so much for the advice. It is greatly appreciated!

2009-09-21Mary Burleson10101010YesThank you so much for your timely and thorough response. I agree and see this as a nuisance type of case. She would be disrespectful and unappreciative if she complained but you know people do it all the time. Disrespectfulness would not be a reason to dismiss a case, however, it may be difficult to find a representative. Nonetheless, the only question I have been unable to answer is if there is such a situation as when a decision is made under the duress of pain. Is the "duress of a person's pain" cause for litigation. Ex. This lady claims she was under the duress of labor pain when she verbally requested the epidural. I only see "duress" being defined as an immediate threat to a person's life or well-being if that person does not perform an act. Again, I am very thankful for you taking the time for this discussion.
2009-09-20Sandra10101010YesThank you for answering my question so quickly. I am not seeking to get rich from this, I just want to be normal again. I want my life back. As far as compensation, I feel this doctor should be the one to pay for my treatment. I currently have no insurance and I have no bank account. How am I supposed to get a neurologist to take my case and fix me without insurance. i am having a cat scan run on monday so hopefully they will find the problem and my doctor is sending me to a neurologist but I dont know how I will pay him. Anyway, thak you for your oponion and your help.

2009-09-06Debra88108NoMr. Dorfman, You have made sense and I thank you for taking to time to read and respond to both my questions. I suppose I had more emotions then I intended in my questions. I hope you don't take offense. While I still feel some communication was needed in my situation between me and my doctors that would have allowed me some choice or forwarning, I understand and appreciate what you said. Thank you again.
2009-09-06Conrad10101010YesExtremely fast and helpful response on a situation that has had our family going on a physically and mentally roller coaster, thank you so much for your input.

2009-08-20Paul Mayer10101010YesI thank you for your answer.I understand about the infections. I think its wrong my quality of life has changed and at the moment I face brankruptcy from this.
2009-08-18Brenda10101010NoI'll score your response as a 5. You have not seen all the evidence. I don't agree with your accusation that my daughter obtained the phentermine illegally. I would bet my life that she did not. Your statement: "Yes, it would have been malpractice to automatically renew such prescriptions without some level of monitoring." I did indicate that this was the case -- there was no monitoring whatsoever! The Phentermine should not have been given to her in the first place... but it certainly should not have been re-prescribed for over a year. I have records showing that from 11/28/2009 to 12/24/2008 that he (or someone in his office) approved 22 prescriptions totaling 750 pills. Dosage is 1 per day.

2009-06-24Amanda9101010YesThe answer does make sense, thank you. Just to add on Methotrexate, it is given to treat ectopic pregnancies also. As a cancer drug it goes after rapidly producing cells such as that with a growing pregnancy and breaks it down.
2009-06-23MommyOF38811NoI asked for your thoughts and you answered like a lawyer would. I never planned on taking any action besides leaving this dentistry. My point was the care and consideration for the patient was absolutely disregaurded. Yes, it is a "emergency" when a 3 yr. old looses a tooth, considering they don't get new ones for 4 more yrs. and it could have been saved in milk and put back in within 30 minutes of the incident. Life threatening no but not the type of medical attention I want my child to receive when I call with an emergency. Thanks for answering my question.
