2009-11-09JimDiscretionary powers of trustee101010YesDear Attorney Disraeli, Thank you for your quick response. She is the only trustee unless she shifts it to me. I was reminded by my wife about the more flies with honey saying. I called her and am trying to nudge her toward action as much as she fights it and me. The cost of suing my little sister, both monetarily and emotionally, seems too great, at this time anyway. She's the younger sibling, so doesn't want to get advice from her older brother. Jim
2009-11-06StaceyLife insurance / husband's101010YesThank you for getting back to me so quickly. I am going to contact an attorney and I am considering submitting a congressional inquiry. My husband's sister is fighting for this money and I highly doubt she plans on helping us out when she gets it. She wouldn't even buy my son a pack of diapers when we went without income for 2 months after my husband died. I am thankful my son and I had my family to help us, they have been really good to us through all of this. Thank you again, it was nice talking to you and I appreciate the time you took to read my email. Best Wishes- Stacey

Expertise

I can answer general questions about estate planning and trusts. I can also answer questions about estate tax reduction and advanced charitable giving, family partnerships and asset protection. I may have already answered your question here: www.lifeplanblog.com or here www.pcfo.net

Experience

I have worked for 24 years with clients and their attorneys to formulate estate plans to meet client goals. I have found many mistakes made by client attorneys and were able to have them corrected. I focus on making sure that beneficiaries are protected from current or future spouses and lawsuits so the wealth stays in the family. I have also published a book on Aging Parents which can be found on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003VP9WTG
