2009-10-04Craig7101010NoThank you for your reply. I appreciate your time that you spent in your answers and will compare your suggestions with the Bible to see how they mesh together. I believe that the Bible is the only place to go when it comes to finding out the truth about the Sabbath and Christ’s Second Coming. I believe that the Lord does want all people to obey His Law, the Ten Commandments, to the best of their ability. The ability that we do lack, which is great, Jesus gives us through His strength. The Ten Commandments are the divine Law of God and we need to strive, through Christ, to keep His Law and this definitely includes the seventh day as His Sabbath. It is true that keeping the Ten Commandments will not make one have a place in heaven because it states in Acts 16:31 “And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house”. But it also states in John 14:15 “If ye love me, keep my commandments”. So, if a person loves Jesus, shouldn’t they keep the Commandments of God? I believe with all my heart that Jesus is coming soon .....

2009-02-12robinlorms991010NoWhile I disagree with George theologically, I have found him to be polite and courteous. Since we both agree that it is only through the cross of Jesus that one can obtain salvation then the other points are only side issues. George has supported his Catholic position very well. I just disagree with his theology. Robin Lorms

2008-04-25Art108510YesMy rating on "timeliness" should be obvious. The lower than "10" rating is because, although I received a multitude of apparently correct answers going back a very long ways, I still am at a loss as to the possibility of a more current answer to my question which allegedly was published in the Catholic Digest in the 1950's or the 1960's. Is there some address on the Internet where I could research the Catholic Digests of that era on my own. I wish to thank him for all of the information that he did supply as it provides me with a supply of "seed" to continue the growth of my knowledge of these kinds of knowledge. Arthur Pyhala
