Each of the four churches has representation on PPR and clearly still have a division two/two on working and getting along with the current minister. Thank you for your suggestion to have people speak out their opinions. Perhaps the many problems stem from some very small differences which then could be worked on to strengthen our congregation and the minster for our future. |

There is a new pastor at the church who just gave his first sermon this past Sunday (7/5/09). I'll give this decision a little more prayer, contemplation, and time. It does seem, however, that I would feel more at peace taking this final step. In times of reflection I feel quite blessed to have been born Jewish and have that heritage and upbringing which I will never turn away from completely. Yet, becoming a believer in Jesus is the most natural progression of my personal faith, and becoming a Methodist at this time also feels quite natural. Once again, thanks so much for your help. |
