2009-07-24RC10101010YesI really appreciate Dr. Strecker's comment. I didn't know about the "3 T's" of chiropractic. Lately I had been wondering if the stress in my life could have been affecting my body to the point that the treatments were not holding. Now I know that is probably the cause of my problem. Also, I guess I forgot what to look for (wear & tear, arthritis, etc.) that would indicate I might need glucosamine chondroitin. Again, thank you very much.

2008-12-14Cindy10101010YesThank you so much! You were spot on. I am going to take some vitamin A AND B AND C to see if the cough will clear up. Then I plan to see my doctor. My dear friend called me from the hospital in Philly having been admitted for a blood clot in the lung. When he explained the origin of the pain...under his arm pit, I was left with a sort of panic for myself. For that is what I had last week. That pain was no doubt caused from the lifting of heavy furniture prior to the onset of the pain. The cough is accompanied with a white gummy flem. I have always had lingering coughs after a cold or virus, so this is nothing new to me. But, I will go to the doctor. Someone told me to have a hot tottie? Would hot rum help? I don't know. Thanks again....you response was absolutely fantastic. While I would never take an online, email as gospel, it did calm my fears. Cindy

2008-06-11Penny10101010NoThank you so much for your opinions. I feel I made the right decision but it does help to hear someone with your credentials tell me that. In fact, you may be surprised to discover I am a retired CA. I worked for many years at a Chiropractic office and saw people who had opted to have surgery and come to the office in worse shape than they were before the surgery. I immediately began the regime I knew I should, even though the pain was so bad it took my breath away. Still, when the neurologist sent me to PT, they said I had already been doing everything they could have done for me and were surprised at how well I was doing. It confirms to me that Chiropractic is still the best route to go. I had to go to the neurologist because of my husband's insurance. My GP insisted on it and in order to maintain my insurance, I had to go to the neurologist for his opinion. I can honestly say I think Chiropractic, my own exercise routine, good nutrition and a lot of prayers to God has kept me going. I am very limited compared .....
