2013-01-22JoeBad Crowns?101010YesThank you so much. I'm going to post a follow-up question in the thread, but it's more to vent out frustration with my new (and soon to be former) dentist than anything else. Your instincts about this new dentist turned out to be 100% accurate. I do appreciate your help.

2012-12-17Jessie Tooth recovery follow-up101010YesThanks so much, Dr Zev Kaufman, for making a real difference in my life. Even though I do have access to good prosthodontic care in my city, the information and knowledge you have shared with me has been invaluable in helping me understand important facts regarding care and the "science" behind having successful restorations. It is so kind of you to take time out of your practice to further understanding and knowledge in your field. Best to you, Jessi K

2012-10-18JeanRoot canal under bridge101010NoMany thanks for your reply Dr. Kaufman. Due to the discomfort, I saw a maxillofacial dentist at Mass General Hospital yesterday. It is tooth #29. He said he could see no decay on the x-ray but recommended a root canal on that tooth in hopes of preserving the bridge at least for while. Due to my age, I have doubts about successful implants. That particular area of my mouth has been without teeth since I was 14 yrs old (they pulled our teeth without question in England during the war) and the bridge was placed about 12 years ago. Thes reat of my teeth are on good repair. Would this work?
