2012-12-29SueTummy tuck101010YesThank you Dr Engler. Your responses clarified things for me and made me realise that my surgeon was possibly exaggerating things, just so that he may appear to be a "hero" in my eyes! Again, many thanks

2012-12-09YHypertrophic scars101010NoHello, Thank you for your reply. My wound is actually still healing and my doctor instructed me to keep putting Mucipiron on it. I was suggested silicone strips might be an option. As for Mederma, I've tried it on my other scar but it didn't do anything. Would steroid injection be an option? Thanks!

2012-07-18MelissaTummy Tuck with an101010YesThank you so very much, it's been of great concern to me. My asthma has been stable, so I've been hoping to have the surgery done, as soon as possible.
2012-07-12ElizabeBA done 2 weeks71010NoThank you for your time and response. Perhaps it needs more time. However, my Dr today said it is probably do to the stitching and will take time to adjust. He was a little offended by my concern and feels i am being erational and impatient. And feels I do not appreciate the extent of surgery he had to perform. at this point i have not choice but to give it time. however, for his defensiveness and not responding to my question until asking 3 times (which was how often do you see this, and what is the percentage of it coming right by itself or to what degree does it typicall rectify on it's own or not) makes me think there is more to this issue. i hope you are right... only time will tell. Thank you
